Sifu Jon Nielson

Master Jon Nielson has been studying Wing Chun since late 1980. After dabbling in several martial arts styles, Jon was introduced to Wing Chun by Jerry Gardner, a student of Duncan Lueng. When Jerry left Utah, Jon continued his training under instructors from several different Wing Chun lines including Kenneth Chung, William Cheung, Eddie Chong, Malcolm Lee, and Leung Ting. He finally found the quality of Wing Chun he was looking for in 1990 under Ron Heimberger in the Wing Chun Kung Fu Council. Jon has taught and studied Wing Chun in Thailand, Spain and Mexico. He has served the Council as Annual Student Seminar Coordinator, Instructor Course Developer, Assistant Curriculum Developer, President of the BYU Wing Chun Club, Council Executive Vice- President and Advisor to Spain. Currently Jon serves as Chief Instructor at the Wing Chun Hall in Salt Lake City, Utah. He has accompanied Sifu Heimberger in seminars to several states, and has been privileged to train with Grandmaster Ip Ching on several occasions, including several trips to Hong Kong.

Jo-gao Logan Williams

Though he has studied various martial arts in the past, including White Crane Kung Fu, Bujinkan Ninpo Taujutsu, and Ed Parker's Kenpo Karate, Jo-gao Logan has dedicated himself exclusively to Wing Chun Kung Fu since 1995, finding the logic and simplicity of the style superior to anything previously known. Since becoming a certified instructor in 2000, he has taught at the Salt Lake school, including monthly combat application classes (fight class). In addition, he has assisted Master Heimberger and Sifu Nielson in numerous combat seminars, demonstrations, and Defense For Life activities. In addition to Kung Fu, Logan also holds two bachelors degrees in electrical engineering and physics, and enjoys hobbies such as shooting, hunting, sailing, pencil drawing, and the guitar.
